Customer-facing display

Second monitor for the cart. Window Management permission, restore banner after the till reopens.

The customer-facing display (CFD) is a second window: welcome when you are off POS, live cart when you are selling. Stockdey places it on the other monitor so you do not drag windows by hand.

    Extend the desktop

    In Windows (or macOS) set displays to Extend, not Duplicate. Plug in the customer screen first.

    Open Customer display

    Profile → Preferences → Customer display. Needs settings.manage. Chrome or Edge.

    Allow Window Management

    Tap Detect displays and Allow when the browser asks. Then pick the non-cashier screen (or let Stockdey pick the secondary).

    Open on customer screen

    That opens /customer-display fullscreen on the chosen monitor. Enable the display, optional auto-open, line prices, thank-you seconds, and a welcome line (120 characters).
