Reports and dashboard
Home KPIs on this device while offline; full reports need internet. Profit reports need extra permission.
Home is a till overview. Reports and Accounting are cloud desks — they need internet and are scoped to the store you have selected.
Dashboard (Home)
- Needs dashboard.view (or reports.view). Cashiers with only pos.sell still get a till-ready home.
- Online: today’s sales, mix, top products, cash, AR/AP, low stock.
- Offline: KPIs from sales saved on this device (same idea as the mobile home tab). Open POS once online so the cache exists.
- Profit on Home needs reports.view_profit. Cost figures stay hidden without it.
Reports
Sidebar → Reports (reports.view). Core: Sales, Sales details, Best sellers, Inventory value, and Profit (reports.view_profit — COGS, margin, expenses, net).
- Free ranges: today, yesterday, this week.
- Pro (advanced reports): last 7 / 30 / 90 days, this month, custom, plus Cash flow, Staff, Tax, Receivables & payables.
Accounting
Pro feature. Needs accounting.view. Income, expenses, cash, AR/AP in one place — not statutory bookkeeping. You can download a bank-style summary PDF. Locked orgs see an upgrade card.
